Pull up a Chair

Welcome to Uncle Tilmer's Story Hour.

I've always had the gift of gab. I can go on for hours about meaningless drivel and semi-entertaining stories about people, places and things I have encountered on life's path (so far). I do this so much that people sometimes call my little monologues "Uncle Tilmer's Story Hour".

I have decided that the technology of the internet gives me the power to waste the time of a much larger population of people with my stories. Imagine the impact I can have on overall productivity in America . . . no wait . . . the WORLD!

My wife has told me that I could be a rocket scientist if my brain was not so crowded up with useless trivia and off-the-wall tales. Maybe this blog will be a way for me to jettison some of that ballast and allow me to join the hallowed ranks of rocket science-dom - or whatever it is you rocket scientists call your realm.

Some of the stories will be humorous. Some will not. Some will attempt to be humorous and end up making you scratch your head or just point your browser someplace else out in the ether. Some of the stories will be personal in nature and maybe even tragic. Hey, it's all part of life.

I hope you enjoy the stories I have to share. Others along my path have (or at least they have pretended to!)
